Anti-Spam Solutions
The UNSW Anti-Spam system has been implemented centrally by the Division of Information Services. This system looks at all email coming in to the UNSW mail server, all email going to a @unsw.edu.au address, and then makes a determination on how much each message looks like Spam.
The Anti-Spam system rates each message by giving it a number starting at 3.0. The higher the number, the more likely it is Spam. This rating is attached to each piece of email in the headers section of the message. This is not normally seen by most users but it can be accessed by your email client.
